I played it for about 2 hours straight after downloading it. It took a little while getting use to the controls. Its a very relaxing games, seems like a stress reliever as well. On paper, it is nothing more than a flying/driving simulator with the six axis and a throttle button. And of course, your vehicle of choice is a petal(s). The premise couldn't be any simpler yet the game will only be appreciated by a mature audience with an appreciation of art. You will play this game because of the music and art direction. There are no headshots nor killstreaks to track. The controls are very good (probably the showcase piece for the six axis controller) and the speed can provide a roller-coaster-like rush at times, but you needn't master them. Anyone who tries will finish the game. The experience will last about two hours and I can't say there is any replayability to it, so the question you have to ask yourself is "Is it worth $10 for a two hour experience that is refreshingly different, relaxing and uplifting or do I go back to raising that headshot count?". Once one becomes more mature-- some of us never do-- one will enjoy games that do not merely involve the same repetitive killing and destroying. In Flower, instead of annihilating everything, one is more in-tune with everything moving in a holistic flow in a manner that is very Zen-like in orientation. There are some points, later in the game, wherein there are some dark dangers that can harm one's momentum (to a point); but this is easily overcome and one can (as in life) find ways (creatively) to overcome the dark and uncaring of others. This game is great for young or old, male or female. It would be a great experience for a visitor to try out at your home! It is aesthetically very pleasing and is rooted in harmony and oneness with the environment. Instead of barbaric games, it is really something that should occur more in our conflict riddled society! One can go back to it time and time again to relax and to feel in harmony with the beauty of nature. Then one can go outdoors and experience nature's oneness directly... which is even better than any game! Walt Whitman said: "One pocketless of a dime may purchase the pick of the earth." There's a lot of flowing grass in this excellent flowering game. Read "Leaves of Grass" after playing it!
